Following the successful acquisition of Forest Mapping Management GmbH (FMM) by the LIECO Group in 2022 and FMM’s acquisition of treeva GmbH last year, the company now reaches its next milestone in strategic development: effective November 1, 2024, FMM will be officially renamed palos GmbH. Concurrently, treeva GmbH will be renamed palos DE GmbH. This rebranding coincides with Herbert Pamminger assuming the role of Managing Director.

Rebranding: From FMM to palos GmbH

The decision to rename Forest Mapping Management GmbH to palos GmbH and treeva GmbH to palos DE GmbH is a strategic move to strengthen the brand and sharpen market positioning. This aims to streamline the corporate structure and deepen the connection to the palos platform, successfully launched in February this year.

New Managing Director: Herbert Pamminger takes over

With the leadership change, Herbert Pamminger will succeed Interim Managing Director Alexander Winkler, who successfully led palos GmbH for the past six months and will continue to support the company strategically as Investment Director of the Liechtenstein Group. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Winkler for his outstanding dedication and excellent work during this transition.

Herbert Pamminger brings extensive experience and expertise in technological innovation and business development, which he will now contribute to the continued growth of palos GmbH.

Born in Linz, Mr. Pamminger completed his degree in electrical engineering, focusing on telecommunications and electronics, at Graz University of Technology and graduated as a Diplom-Ingenieur. He further complemented his technical background with an MBA from Management Center Innsbruck (MCI), where he specialized in marketing and sales.

His career has led him to management positions at SITECO, where he was responsible for Service and Sustainability Solutions, and at Zumtobel Group, where he managed Sales and Business Development for several years. His diverse skill set makes him ideally suited to advance palos GmbH’s innovation strategy and strengthen the company’s position.
