As of September 2023, Forest Mapping Management GmbH (FMM), a part of LIECO Group and a portfolio company of Liechtenstein Group, has acquired treeva GmbH, based in Germany. With this acquisition, FMM takes its first step towards market expansion and further enhances its competencies in the fields of forestry and software development.

treeva GmbH was founded in 2019 as a corporate startup of the STIHL Group, specializing in the development and distribution of digital solutions for forestry. With treeva, foresters and forest workers can precisely locate trees, and their flagship product, FOVEA, offers an innovative comprehensive solution for digital timber inventory. Using the "iFOVEA Pro" app, one can calculate woodpiles of any size in a few minutes using the latest image processing technologies.
